Robert “Bob” Detweiler age 81 of Howell died February 26, 2020 in Ypsilanti at Memory Lane Assisted Living.  Born June 21, 1938 the son of Charles Henry and Laura Pauline (Schlough) Detweiler in Easton, Pennsylvania.  Bob was an Air Force Veteran and former Assistant Prosecutor for Livingston County.  He married Bonnita “Bonnie” on January 11, 1980 in Howell.  Bonnie preceded Bob in death on September 30, 2014.  Also preceding him in death were two brothers Meyer and Charles Detweiler.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, brewing beer and watching the NFL, especially the Detroit Lions.  Bob is survived by two sons, Eric (Krystal) Detweiler and Evan (Kathy) Detweiler, his grandchildren and many extended family and friends.  Per Bob’s request there will be only a graveside service on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oxbow Lakeside Cemetery in White Lake Township.
