Placido Corpora

Placido "Pat" J. Corpora, 77, of Easton, PA, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 in Easton Hospital. Placido was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Soccorso and Angelina (Butto) Corpora. Placido was a graduate of Easton High School, the class of 1956. He served in the US Army during peace time, from 1960 to 1962. He was a mechanic for most of his life. Pat retired from Easton Area School District as a custodian. Pat was very active in the Easton High School Alumni. He enjoyed going to casinos and spending time with his family and friends. Placido is survived by two daughters: Denise C. Rosado and her husband Edwin, of Ocala, FL and Tangerine Winters of Ocala, FL; sisters Francis Corpora, Bessie Fisher, Millie Shook, Catherine McAvoy of Easton, and Gay Digirolamo of Bath; brothers Soccorso "Sam" Corpora and his wife Virginia of Bath and Joseph Corpora and his wife Nancy of Easton; Grandchildren Joshua Winters and his wife Hope, George Winters and Daniel Winters; Great Grandchildren Olivia and Shelby; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton (Palmer Twp). A Prayer service will follow at 8:00p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Easton, PA on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
