James Weisenberger

James Weisenberger, Palmer Twp. resident

James F. Weisenberger, 59, of Palmer Township, died Tuesday, Aug. 12 (1997), in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.

He was employeed at the Mountainview Youth Correctional Center in Annandale, retiring on disadility in 1995 after 10 years. Prior to that he was a bus driver for three years for the Easton Area School District.

Born Nov. 20, 1937 in Wilson Borough, he was a son of the late Frederick B. and Josephine Moser Weisenberger.

He and his wife, the former Marian Frey, would have observed their 27th wedding anniversary Aug. 15.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kyle of Palmer Township; a stepson Gary Hasko of Wilson Borough; two stepdaughters, Linda Crouse of Palmer Township and Karen Leiser of New Tripoli, Pa.; a brother, John of Forks Township; and five grandchildren.

A son, James jr., died earlier.

Services will be held at 11 a./m. Friday from the Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call 10 a.m. to time of services Friday in the funeral home.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
