Paul Slamp

LAS VEGAS Paul Patrick Slamp, 85, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly from Riegelsville, Bucks County, PA, passed away May 26, 2022 in his home as a result of complications of Alzheimers and Lewy Body Dementia. He was born on March 17, 1937 and was the son of the late Emma P. (Bare) Buzzard and the late Paul L. Slamp. Paul was a 1956 graduate of Easton High School. He was an USAF Master Sergeant, retiring in 1977. From 1977 to 1999 he worked in various casinos in Las Vegas. Paul (also called Pat by family and close friends) loved all sports and enjoyed watching them on TV. He also loved watching Westerns, with John Wayne being his favorite actor. Survivors: Daughters: Holly Hess-Sharrai, (with whom he resided); Dawn L. Hutchinson, of North Las Vegas. He was predeceased by a daughter, Tracie Croxton of San Jose, California. Grandchildren: Christopher Morgan, Miranda Munoz, Carrie Hutchinson, and James Croxton. Great Grandchildren: Maxx Martinez, Jaxxon Munoz, Brandon Volkert, and Joseph Saavedra. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him, including his two furry friends, Penny and Lucky. Interment will be on Sept. 23, 2022 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
