John “Danny” Gipp
John D. Gipp Jr., 73, of Palmer Township, PA passed away February 7, 2012 at Easton Hospital.
Born: August 24, 1938 in Easton, PA, a son of the late John D. Gipp and the late Winifred Walker Gipp.
Personal: He worked at International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Allentown, PA, he retired as their business agent and was a painter by trade. Along with his wife, he enjoyed spending winters in Cocoa Beach Florida.
Military service was in the United States Air Force.
Survivors: wife, Margie m. Rowe Gipp; children, Lisamarie of Palmer Township, PA, John D. Gipp III and his wife Cynthia of Easton, PA, Sean P. Gipp and his wife Kristi of Boca Raton, Fl, Cindy Cacioppo of Scranton, PA; brothers & sisters, Barbara Markley of Palmer Township, PA, William Gipp of Walnutport, PA; grandchildren, Katie, Leah, Alexis, Jilian, Devon, Aryn, Brian, & Dana.
Services: The Funeral will begin at the Finegan Funeral Home, 1837 Washington Blvd., Easton Pa on Saturday at 11 a.m. The interment will be at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township, PA. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials: Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
