Alfred A. "Mayor" DiFelice, 82, of Martins Creek, PA, passed away Wednesday, Oct, 16, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Alfred was born in Martins Creek, PA, on Dec. 2, 1936, a son of the late Alfred P. and Julia (DiEmidio) DiFelice.
He was the husband of G. Yvonne (Frinzi) DiFelice. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on Oct. 8. He was a graduate of Easton High School. Alfred worked for Ingersoll Rand until retiring in 1998. He was a township supervisor for Lower Mount Bethel Twp. for 25 years and was an avid gardener and New York Yankees fan.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Easton, PA.
In addition to his loving wife, Yvonne, he is survived by his daughters, Sandra DelBuono, wife of Brian, of Clifton VA, Sharon DiFelice of Easton, PA, Susan Falcone of Martins Creek, PA; five grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Stephanie, Mia, and Anna. He was preceded in death by his son, Alfred DiFelice Jr., and a sister, Gloria Falco. The family would like to give special thanks to Lillie Lobb for her many years of compassionate care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Our Lady of Mercy, 132 S 5th St, Easton, PA with Rev. Keith Laskowski officiating. Family and friends are invited to call 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA. Burial will be held at Church Hill Cemetery Martins Creek, PA. Online condolences may be offered at palmerifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Rd. Easton, PA 18042. or another animal rescue organization of one's choice.
