Ann Francis Guffy Harrison
Ann F. Harrison, 73, of West Easton, passed away Friday, June 5, 2009 in VNA of St. Luke’s Hospice House.
Born: On May 20, 1936, in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Rose Mastria Guffy.
Personal: Her husband, Kenneth G.. Sr., died January 31, 1995. Ann was a cook at Avona volunteer Fire House for 17 years. She graduated from Easton High School in 1956. Ann enjoyed ceramics and aqua aerobics at Thirs Street Alliance.
Membership: She was a member of First United Church of Christ.
Survivors: Two sons, Kenneth G. jr. and his wife Wendy S., of West Easton, and Michael J. Sr. and his wife Evelyn A., of Wilson Borough; three brothers, William and Alex Guffy, both of Palmer Township and Butch Guffy, of Easton; three sisters, Rosemarie Ruppert, of Bath, Lina Male, of Palmer Township and Lucy Haslam of Warminster; a sister-in-law, Carol Hoye, of Wilson Borough; four grandchildren, Michael Jr., Jessica, Kenneth III, and Kevin. A sister, Susan D’huyvetters, died earlier.
Services: Will be held at 2pm Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Wednesday 1-2pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.
