Joan F. Boyer Odenwelder
Joan F. Odenwelder, 70, of Forks Township, died Sunday, August 30, 2009 in her home.
Born: September 27, 1938 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Clair O. and Ethel M. Rabuck Boyer.
Personal: Joan was a teacher in the Easton Area School District for 33 years. She graduated from Easton High School in 1956 and recieved her Bachelors and Masters degrees from East Stroudsburg University.
Membership: She was a former member of the Eastern Star and had been a Tall cedarette.
Survivors: a son, Scott D. Odenwelder and his wife Tabitha of Forks Township, a brouther Donald J. Boyer and his wife Christina of Palmer Township, her companion, Ray Herman and a grandson, Tristen.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township. Call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Sts., Easton.
