Irene B. Frace, court clerk

Irene B. Frace, 63, of Easton died Wednesday, Jan. 16 (2002), in Easton.

She was a deputy clerk of courts in the criminal division of the Northampton County Courthouse for 21 years.

Born June 28, 1938, in West Hazelton, Pa., she was a daughter of Susan H. Referovich Bartosh of Easton and the late John J. Bartosh.

She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Easton for 43 years, where she taught CCD classes for more than 20 years, was a lector, volunteered in the office and was a member of the choir and the church coincil.

She was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts Troop 27 at Calvary Methodist Church in Easton.

She and her husband, Harold G., observed their 43rd wedding anniversary on July 13.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Michael E. of Whitehall; and two grandchildren.

A son John H., died earlier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church, 132 S. 5th Stt., Easton. Call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday to time of services in the church.

Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Township.

The Strunk Funeral Home, 602 W. Berwick St., Easton, is in charge of arraingements.
